At that time, 1985, it was still a cult classic and a true alternative record. &lt;br /&gt;It is a shame the way &amp;quot;Blister in the Sun&amp;quot; has become so overdone. It is probably one of the songs I could never hear for the rest of my life, and die happy. general (although i think i saw them open for some band i saw sometime, vague, i know, but what the hell)-  agree completely on Never Tear Us Apart, and Atlantic City as well, man that fucking song! makes you want to take someone by the hand and run away from everything!- i also  seem to just have a general dislike for the Violent Femmes, don't know why, but, blah-  and yeah, no way you can
